Terms of use

1. Acceptance
These terms apply to your use of ruvano.ca, including the website chat and voice demo (together, the "site"). The site is operated by RUVANO TECHNOLOGIES LTD., Vancouver, BC ("Ruvano", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What the site is
The site gives general information about Ruvano's AI assistant and AI agent services for businesses, and lets you try sample demos and contact us. Information on the site may change at any time.
3. AI chat and voice demo
The chat and voice demo give AI-generated answers. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, so please check anything important with a person. Demo businesses shown on the site are fictional samples.
The chat and voice demo are not professional advice. They do not give medical, dental, pharmacy, legal, financial, tax, real-estate or compliance advice, and they must not be relied on for any such decision.
Do not use the site for emergencies. If you have an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
Please do not enter health information or other sensitive personal information into the chat or voice demo.
When using the site, you must not: harass, threaten or abuse anyone; submit unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or infringing content; try to make the assistant ignore its rules, reveal hidden instructions or produce harmful output (prompt attacks); scrape, crawl or copy the site or the assistant's answers in bulk by automated means, except search engines following our robots.txt; overload, probe or disrupt the site or its security; or use the site to build a competing service. We may limit or block access to protect the site and other users.
4. Client work and no offer
Any work we do for a client is governed only by a separate written service agreement signed by both parties. Nothing on the site is an offer that can be accepted, a contract or a guarantee of results. Prices on the site are in CAD, plus applicable taxes, and are confirmed in writing before any work starts. Every package is month-to-month, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Packages have no set usage limit; we may limit unusual or abusive usage that goes well beyond normal business use, and will tell you first. Agents handle business tasks for your company only and will decline personal or unrelated requests.
5. Intellectual property
The site, including its text, design, logo and the Ruvano name, belongs to Ruvano or its licensors. You may view and share pages for your own non-commercial use, but you may not copy, modify or reuse them for other purposes without our written permission. Images marked "Illustration" are AI-generated and do not show real people, clients or staff (see the media credits).
6. Links to other sites
The site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, services or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and under their terms.
7. Privacy
Our privacy notice explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, including what is sent through the contact form and chat.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the site, the chat and the voice demo are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ruvano and its directors, officers, staff and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including reliance on any AI-generated answer. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to CAD $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Ruvano against claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You and we agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date, and it applies from that date. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
